Governance work runs on triggers — a deadline lands, a notification arrives, a calendar event fires. The firm knew what needed to happen. The problem was the gap between signal and action: every obligation had to be caught, interpreted, and manually communicated before anyone could act on it.

We mapped the full workflow end-to-end — every trigger type, every handoff, every step that depended on someone remembering to follow up. The picture was a process that worked, but only because specific people were carrying it in their heads and their inboxes.

We rebuilt it around the signals themselves. Calendar triggers and message notifications now flow directly into structured Notion tasks — assigned, prioritised, and ready for the team to act on without a manual step in between. The connective tissue that previously lived in someone's inbox is now built into the system.

The team went from managing their obligations through follow-up communications to working from a live, structured task environment that reflects the actual state of every matter in real time.
